1. Qualification – You must be 10th passed from state boards recognised by State Govt./Central Govt. Those who
passed Xth class examination in the first attempt will be given more preference than those passed compartmentally.

2. Merit List – Merit list will be prepared based on 10th class marks. 10th standard percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals will be the criteria for final selection. In case candidates get the same marks, the merit order would be taken as DOB(higher age as merit), ST female, SC female, OBC female, UR female, STMale, SC Male, OBC male, UR male. There will be no written examination.

3. Computer Knowledge – All the aspirants applying for these posts should have Computer Knowledge. Those who does not have knowledge of computer are required to do the computer training course for at least 60 days from a recognized Computer Training Institute. Upon selection you are required to show the document of your computer training certificate. If you have studied Computer as a subject in Class X or Class XII or higher educational
qualification then you does not need to do the computer training course. Only you have to submits a certificate of Class X or Class XII or higher educational qualification in which you have studied computer as a subject if you got selected. 

4. Residence – Those who applied for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) & Branch Postmaster (BPM) post must take his residence in the Branch Post Office village within one month after selection but before engagement as Gramin Dak Sevak & Branch Postmaster.

5. Furnishing of Security – All the applicants applying for this recruitment have to furnish security amount of Rs. 25,000/- in the event of engagement for the post of BPM and Rs. 10,000/- for other categories.
