The quality and features of a mobile a person wish for varies from person to person but here I have listed some factors which an average person should look at before buying a new mobile phone.
Size : The size of a mobile phone varies form person to person, according to his need. Mobile phone too comes in various shapes and sizes. You may go for mobile as small as which can fit in your palm or as big as a tablet PC. Whatever the size of phone is, makes sure it can fit into your pockets.
Speed : Everyone hates slow and ‘hanging’ mobile phones. Nowadays mobile phone comes with processors, so make sure you don’t go for something below than 1Ghz, until and unless you just want a mobile for phone calls.
Camera : Again, this feature too depends from person to person and on his need. If you are adventurous, you may need something good as least 5 Megapixel camera. And if you are a ‘lazy’ guy then you don’t need something more than a VGA. But I will recommend to always go for least 2 Megapixel camera, which will brightup your celebrations.
Internet : First of all, if you are thinking to go for a non-Internet support mobile then better visit a doctor. We are living in 21st century and mobile device which doesn’t support Internet should not be called mobile phone. Even though many corners of the world are blessed with 3G and even 4G network but there are millions people still using GPRS or Edge on their mobile. Make sure the mobile phone which you are going to purchase supports at least Edge, successor of GPRS.
Input : An important factor of mobile phone is type of Input it supports. Most of the mobile phones are touchscreen nowadays so make sure the screen of your Mobile is big enough to get right buttons pressed by you. If you are going with keypad, make sure buttons are big and not very close to each other.
Battery : The biggest factor, Battery. Will you like your mobile to go down when you are on a long journey ? People buy mobile phone on basis of it’s look and features but most of them don’t check how long it will last. Try not to go below 3000 mAh battery or at least 2700 mAh.
