Every time we format our computer and/or Install a new Operating system we find it difficult to listen to music, play audio file, or run any software or game which deals with graphics.
Once we format everything and install an operating system on our computer, the only thing which get installed is Operating System itself and software packages bundled with it. If we try to play any audio file in a computer with a fresh copy of Operating System installed then we won’t be able to listen to the audio. We will get an error message likeAudio drivers not found or any relevant error message. If we try to run any game, here too we will get an error message.
In above cases, we are neither able to play audio file nor able to play graphic games, even though audio and graphic hardware are installed on our computer. This is because our newly Installed Operating System is unable to detect Speakers which are connected to the computer to play audio nor it is able to detect Graphic card installed in motherboard of computer.
The only solution of above problems is to install Drivers in computer. There are different drivers for different computers, depend on manufacturer and motherboard of computer. This means the driver of your friend’s computer may not work for your own computer. Drivers can be installed either by using Driver’s CD, bundled with Computer or by Downloading drivers manually from the system manufacturer’s website.
Most of the people lose their driver’s CD, bundled with computer when purchased and thus are unable to fix the issue. The computer repair person asks for a huge money even though it doesn’t costs that much.
In this article I will teach you How to find and install drivers for computer which was formatted or has newly installed operating system.
As we discussed earlier, there is an option to download drivers for computer manually and save money, the only thing which will cost here is the Internet bill.
To search and download correct drivers for computer, we need to have least two things :
It takes less than 30 seconds to find these two information.
Follow the given steps to find Computer Manufacturer and Model Number:
1. Go to Start >> Run or press Ctrl+R
2. Now in Run, type dxdiag and hit Enter key
3. You may get a pop-up message, displaying something similar to :

In this step, all you have to do is to select Yes
If you aren’t prompted with a pop-up box then ignore this step.

From DirectX’s dialog box, note down above two information.
That’s it! We are done with finding Manufacturer name and Model Number of computer.

Finding and downloading right driver for computer isn’t so hard. All you have to do is to visit your Favorite search engine, say Google and type name of the System Manufacturer, which you got from previous section and press Enter. Now visit the website of motherboard manufacturer of your computer, and look for ‘Support’ or ‘Download’ section on the website. You have to just provide your Model Number and Operating System to download drivers for you computer.
