3. Now navigate to More > Import / Export
Once you select Import / Export option, a popup box will appear with options Import from SD card and Export to SD card. Since we want to take backup of contacts, select Export to SD card option from the popup menu. Once you will select Export to SD card option, aVCF file will be created in the SD Card attached to your mobile phone and location of VCF file will displayed in the dialog box.

To restore contacts from SD Card, follow same steps till Import / Export menu. Now from Import / Export menu, select Importand then select the account into which you want to add contacts, you can also select Phone if you want to save contact itself locally in phone.
